Cetecom acquires card-related series of Galitt GlobalPlatform Test Suites

Essen, Germany, Sept. 22, 2014 -- CETECOM, global smart card testing service provider recognized by GlobalPlatform, has just completed the acquisition of all Galitt Tests Suites. Thanks to this acquisition, CETECOM is now able to offer test and qualification services for all GlobalPlatform card specifications. CETECOM is in possession of Galitt qualified tools and has the expertise to confirm a product's compliance to GlobalPlatform configurations.

Thanks to a long-standing relationship with GlobalPlatform – a cross industry, non-profit association which identifies, develops and publishes specifications that promote the secure and interoperable deployment and management of multiple applications on secure chip technology – Galitt offers all Test Suites defined by GlobalPlatform. Galitt Test Suites are marketed to both test labs, such as CETECOM, and to smart card industrialists. This way, products are tested with the same Test Suites at development stage by smart card vendors and at qualification stage by GlobalPlatform-approved tests laboratories.
