Next-gen commerce solutions: Part 2

Product: Chief Technology Officer as a Service
Company: Level 12

The ever-changing payments industry produces a steady stream of innovative products and services designed to make commerce simple, secure and seamless. Following are notable examples of next-generation commerce solutions. Part 2.

Level 12, a software development, data management and business intelligence provider, added Chief Technology Officer as a Service (CTOaaS) to its suite of technology solutions. Designed to help organizations leverage the Salesforce ecosystem, the solution can help senior technology leaders holistically manage tasks and evaluate options with more accurate data to improve efficiencies within the B2B commerce cloud, according to company representatives.

Royce Hall, director, business development at Pylons, a division of Level 12, stated that Salesforce implementation can be daunting to professional workers. "People tend to focus more on the software itself than the issues they're trying to solve," he said. "As consultants, we want to start with the issues and really understand them and then move on to solutions." Hall noted that CTOaaS helps senior technology leaders dig into issues and make informed choices that meet their needs. It can be hard to evaluate all options, which is why it's important to have a holistic technology plan, he added.

"If you are not a senior IT person yourself, we offer ours," Hall said. "We have helped organizations understand and implement agile principles, evaluate their tech stacks and project timelines, develop their project goals and roadmaps, and do the actual work of implementation." end of article
