Protect merchants, extend reach with cyber-privacy

Product: uRISQ Cyber-privacy Platform
Company: CSR Privacy Solutions Inc.

CSR Privacy Solutions Inc. (CSR), a global privacy, regulatory and compliance solutions provider, launched uRISQ, an integrated cyber-privacy platform designed to keep small and midsize businesses (SMBs) informed, compliant and up to date on evolving privacy regulations. The solution is backed by certified subject matter experts, developer resources and channel partner support, the company stated.

Ross Federgreen, chief executive officer and founder of CSR, described uRISQ as a modular solution that ISOs, ISVs and reseller partners can easily brand and integrate into core service offerings. "The platform consists of five components: privacy assessment, data breach analysis, threat scanning, data subject access requests (DSARs) and vendor management," he said. "These five modules are used by 300,000 SMBs in 17 countries."

CSR consults with global corporations, government and nonprofit entities, maintaining all requisite certifications, such as the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework, AICPA SOC II and ID Stay Safe certifications, Federgreen stated. In addition, CSR specialists hold numerous privacy and security certifications, including IAPP, ISC2, and ISACA.

Five-pronged cyber-privacy protection

Federgreen pointed out that CSR continually updates its platform, technology and software in response to ever-changing privacy regulations, which vary across countries, states and regions. The complex U.S. regulatory landscape is represented in a clickable map on the uRISQ website, where visitors can view each state's laws related to privacy protection as well as guidelines for reporting breaches, notifying customers and vendors, and protecting personal information.

Federgreen summarized the uRISQ platform's five-pronged, modular approach to cyber-privacy as follows:

  1. Privacy Assessment: Provides resources, templates and best practices to protect against physical and electronic threats to data privacy, giving SMBs a suite of affordable, self-paced risk assessment tools to document the review process.
  2. Database Analysis: Simplifies regulatory reporting requirements by providing templates for filing state, federal and international documents and knowledgeable Certified Information Privacy Professionals (CIPPs) to further assist with timely, accurate reporting.
  3. Threat Scanning: Frequently and automatically scans firewalls, enabling business owners to remediate exposure and mitigate data compromises. The multilayered approach notifies users of potential risks, vulnerabilities and prioritized findings.
  4. DSAR Management: Uses automatic ID verification to help businesses handle, process and respond to data requests from customers in a timely and accurate manner to meet DSAR timelines and regulatory compliance standards.
  5. Vendor Risk Management: Displays information on third-party service providers on a compliance dashboard. The third-party exposure dashboard improves transparency and limits liability by enabling uRISQ channel partners and their clients to instantly assess each vendor's security and privacy posture.

Channel partner benefits

uRISQ provides essential tools, resources and continuous support for managing privacy risk and can be deployed wherever your clients are doing business, anywhere in the world, Federgreen stated. ISOs, ISVs and merchant level salespeople can easily integrate uRISQ into their core service offerings; software developers can integrate the uRISQ technology platform into their native environments using the company's SDK, API library and software support services, he added.

"uRISQ increases your monthly recurring revenue and brand visibility in a very significant way," Federgreen said. "Our partnership is custom built for success and our channel partners are white labelling our solution to increase customer lifetime value and stickiness as well as profit."

Federgreen emphasized that there is zero upfront cost to participate in the program. Channel partners receive in-depth training, marketing support and dedicated relationship managers to ensure success, he noted, adding that this is a great way to differentiate from competitors and expand channel reach with no limit on income potential or geography. end of article
