Keep customers coming back with contactless payments

Fattmerchant, an integrated payment technology provider, launched Contactless by Omni, an all-in-one contactless payment solution designed to help business owners seamlessly transition to touch-free payments. The technology suite includes all the necessary tools to support a fully contactless payments experience in-store and online, stated Suneera Madhani, founder and CEO of Fattmerchant.

"We have seen an increasing rise in engagement and requests for our contactless solutions," Madhani said. "Merchants have been eager to add these capabilities to their business, especially as they have continued to look for touch-free ways to service their customers as states begin opening back up. Comprehensive tool kit

Fattmerchant noted that Contactless by Omni is a ready to deploy technology suite with all the tools required to support contactless payments, including:

  • One-click instant online shopping cart: Merchants can instantly create an online shopping cart with single-click purchasing. The plug-and-play solution requires no configuration or coding.
  • Text 2 Pay: Merchants can send a payment link to customers via text message that enables them to complete a payment on their mobile device. Touch-free mobile and countertop POS: Merchants can support tap and pay at the POS, enabling customers to pay with contactless cards, mobile wallets and wearables.
  • Virtual portal: Merchants can key in takeout, curbside pickup and delivery orders on the virtual portal.
  • Email invoicing: Merchants can send electronic invoices to customers via email or text.
  • Omnichannel payments reporting: Merchants can seamlessly aggregate payment data across all contactless solutions within a single dashboard.


Madhani said Fattmerchant is helping merchants make the switch to begin accepting contactless payments immediately. In addition to a rapid approval process, the company is expediting terminal and base hardware shipments and working closely with merchants to help create a clean, touch-free customer experience, she added.

"Seamless integration through a single API has been the core of our Omni product from the very beginning, which is why every solution within Contactless by Omni is already part of one unified experience," Madhani said. "For example, with our built-in omnichannel payments report, payment data from across all Contactless by Omni solutions can be accessed through a single, user-friendly dashboard. This means that merchants do not have to visit independent dashboards for each solution to access the information they need."

Fattmerchant also offers a variety of options for merchants interested in upgrading older equipment to NFC-enabled devices. These options include outright purchases and leasing, and protection plans are also available, Madhani stated. She added that merchants are not limited to any particular POS system, as the Omni platform integrates with most available POS systems.
