Warpaint Consulting was founded in 2022 by Genevieve Dozier, a payments industry executive who wanted to help individuals, teams and organizations realize their full potential. Guided by a mission to inspire others and provide actionable insights, the company tailors its services for each client, Dozier stated.

Dozier noted that her consultancy provides market intelligence and bespoke training programs designed to grow team confidence and improve the bottom line by guiding investors, businesses and career professionals in decision making, team building and strategic planning.

Trusted mentor, partner

Dozier credits her strength and ability to overcome adversity to humble beginnings. First in her family to graduate college, she went on to marry and start a family and career. Her payments journey began in 2006 at Truist Bank, formerly BB&T, where she served in leadership roles, culminating in a vice president of merchant services position where she reported directly to the president.

A decade of on-the-job experiences and membership in PayTech Women provided mentorship, guidance and support that helped her advance professionally.

Recalling her early days in payments, Dozier noted she had been the bank's youngest and only female executive. Responsibilities included product development, pricing and strategy for 57,000 merchant accounts processing $18 billion in annual volume, with annual gross revenue of $370 million. In addition, she managed sales training and sales support for the bank's 80 sales representatives.

Additional career highlights included leadership roles at Ingenico, CardConnect, First Data, FIS and Merchant's Pact. She currently serves as director at Finova Capital, where she leads business development and relationship strategy with the company's ISV, ISO and payment facilitation partners.

Servant leader

Thoughout her career, Dozier has been recognized for her pioneering efforts to promote diversity and inclusion and help fellow payments professionals achieve work-life balance and success. She has garnered awards and recognition as a small business advocate and serves on committees at the Electronic Transactions Association, Money20/20 and PayTech Women (formerly Wnet).

Achievements include the following milestones: 2022 Wnet President's Award Nominee; 2022 Wnet Founders Award Nominee; 2022 Money 20/20 Advisory Board Member; 2022 Wnet Board Director; also serving as the Chair for the Industry Events Task Force and Co-Chair of the Summit Volunteer Committee; 2022 Women in Payments Advocate for Women Award Nominee; 2021 Wnet Game Changer Award Recipient; 2020 Fiserv Leading Women Program Participant; 2020 Fiserv WIN (Women's Impact Network) ERG Global Leader; 2019 Wnet Making Waves Award recipient; 2019 Money20/20 Rise Up Academy Member (Empowering Women in Leadership); 2019 ETA Top Forty under 40 Honoree; and 2018 Stevie Awards Women in Business Individual/Executive Award Judge.
