Chart your growth with a proven payment partner

Talus Pay, a Dallas-based ISO, works with all types and sizes of merchants, providing payment acceptance solutions that seamlessly integrate with payment gateways and back-end settle with First Data (now Fiserv), TSYS (now Global Payments) and Tri-Source (now REPAY). The company's in-store, online and mobile solutions include standalone and integrated POS systems, payment card readers, embedded payments, gift cards, cash advance, cash discount and surcharge programs, stated Kim Fitzsimmons, chief executive officer at Talus Pay.

"ISOs and agents want service—it's that simple," Fitzsimmons said. "Talus Pay provides premium, personal end-to-end experiences that enable ISOs and agents to build better relationships with their merchant customers." Talus Pay partners receive seamless onboarding, easy reporting and transparent pricing, but most of all, we know who they are, Fitzsimmons noted. "We take pride in providing services they want, need and deserve," she said. "Our partnerships make our business better every day."

Partner focused

Fitzsimmons, who formerly held leadership positions at Cynergy Data, First Data and Concord EFS, and JPMorgan, joined Talus Pay in 2020. Believing every customer deserves to be seen and heard, she resolved to be a trusted partner for payments industry stakeholders and unify the company's business units and acquisitions under a single vision and brand.

In an effort to help ISOs, agents and their merchants navigate the complex payments marketplace, Talus Pay positions itself as a boutique service provider that Fitzsimmons described as a perfect mix of big processor performance with personalized, end-to-end in-house support. Fitzsimmons further noted that the company's core principles have remained the same since its inception in 2006. She summarized these values as forging trust, fostering simplicity, innovating to win, succeeding together, embracing inclusion and always putting customers first.

Growth oriented

Through the years, Talus Pay has grown organically as well as through acquisitions, which include Granite Payment Alliance, LTD Merchant Services, Merchant Bank Partners, MSP Consulting, Philadelphia Processing, Prolific Business Solutions, ValuPlus Merchants Association and the merchant portfolio of City National Bank. These strategic acquisitions enabled the company to grow revenue, diversify and attract talent while migrating its portfolio to higher volume merchant accounts, Fitzsimmons stated. Talus Pay's owner, Alvarez & Marsal, continues to provide the financial runway to succeed in executing the company's growth strategy, she added.

Today, Talus Pay has 175 employees in 38 states, with six U.S. offices, all focused on transforming the payments economy by enabling small and midsize businesses to thrive. The company's tailored solutions, responsive client support and trusted advisors serve nearly 25,000 merchants in North America, processing 48.5 million transactions with $6.22 billion in annual charge volume through direct and independent merchant sales channels and partnering financial institutions, ISOs, independent software vendors, and value-added resellers.

Nimble and flexible, Talus Pay's single-source, end-to-end service platform provides connectivity to virtually any payment gateway and settlement with the payments industry's largest processors. Talus Pay solutions are further enhanced by in-house capabilities, including automated underwriting, deployment and activation, 24/7 customer service, risk monitoring, customized reports, and statement services.

Proven leaders

Fitzsimmons credited Talus Pay's consistent, year-over-year growth to its team of well-respected payments industry leaders, all of whom have experience leading successful organizations and deep bench strength to quickly comprehend and customize solutions.

In describing the company's deep commitment to its partners, Fitzsimmons said Talus Pay helps fuel partner growth by providing flexible, single-source merchant offerings backed by transparent pricing and personalized support. These product and service offerings, combined with a growth-oriented approach, provide the ultimate partner experience with white glove treatment and impeccable attention to detail, she added. "Talus Pay is aggressively focused on growing revenues via ISOs, agents, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and other partners, as well as direct sales teams," Fitzsimmons said. "We've built the platforms, automated the technologies, developed the reporting and are ready to reintroduce ourselves to the market." end of article
