Innovative, easy automation for ISOs

IRIS CRM was founded in 2010 with a mission of offering an advanced business management solution to the payment processing industry. The company's website states, "At IRIS CRM, simplicity is a way of life," and the statement refers to the company's objective to help ISOs administer the entire merchant lifecycle through one automated system.

The name IRIS is an acronym for Integrated Reporting Is Simple, and IRIS CRM was established with the ambition to develop a premier merchant services application to automate the ISO customer relationship management (CRM) function.

However, since the company's inception, the IRIS CRM product has evolved into a full-scale management solution spanning ISO sales and lead management, customer support, operations and residual distribution. "IRIS manages the entire merchant lifecycle from the time that a lead is a seed – all the way through the lifespan of an account," the company stated.

Powered by innovation

IRIS CRM founder and President Dimitri Akhrin, a Certified Payments Professional, said, "A powerful CRM solution can take businesses of any size to the next level, but they are often rigidly structured and require a great deal of time and money to install and integrate."

While formerly running an ISO, Akhrin discovered a lack of reliable business management tools tailored for the payments industry. The void compelled him to base a developer team at his Brooklyn, N.Y., headquarters to create a set of flexible, easy-to-use CRM tools to better organize the ISO back office. Today, the company is composed of a diverse team of executives, engineers, sales, and service members with over 40 years of combined industry experience.

Amid a stimulating, fast-paced and innovative culture, the IRIS team openly aspires to "come to work every day to bridge the gap of siloed systems by offering a single payments industry-focused ecosystem," the company stated. The IRIS team strives to leverage the most progressive business technologies and provide ISOs with state-of-the-art automations for managing complex business data.

The IRIS platform is cloud-based and users access it through a secure website hosted by the company. IRIS considers it an atypical CRM platform, because it was created with detailed knowledge of the industry's processes for tracking leads, calculating residuals and working with multiple processing networks.

The company additionally noted the platform boasts over 35 integrations and offers tools to manage lead flow, accounts, support and tracking. It is also equipped with robust merchant reporting and supports more than 100,000 active merchants.

The Electronic Transactions Association recently recognized IRIS CRM as one of the industry's most progressive technologies. The ETA named IRIS CRM as its 2018 Technology Innovation Star Awards winner during its Transact 18 event in April, stating, "IRIS CRM was recognized for their technology that provides for creative solutions that promote customer usability, increase profitability, or otherwise enable significant advances for the industry."

Staying progressive and relevant

The IRIS platform is continually enhanced and it is not uncommon to see multiple news releases posted each month on the company's website featuring newly improved functionality, the company pointed out. For example, the company recently unveiled its new online telemarketing tool, CRMDialer, designed for small-to-midsize sales organizations. The telemarketing platform packs enterprise-level functionality into a simple, essential-feature-only user format.

"CRMDialer takes all of the sales and marketing functions of enterprise solutions, adds flexibility and integrated communication tools, and makes them available to organizations of all sizes at an affordable cost," Akhrin said. "CRMDialer helps its users communicate and collaborate more effectively, close more deals and work better together."

This product and others are testaments to IRIS CRM's ongoing commitment to take its technology forward and continually support ISOs at their most critical points of need. end of article
