  • Writing, speaking or presenting at ETA events
  • Representing the ETA's interests to external stakeholders as a spokesperson or expert
  • Providing intellectual capital, resources or expertise toward the ETA's services

The ISO of the Year award, added last year, honors the currently registered ISO member that has contributed to the advancement of the industry, demonstrated high ethical standards and successfully overcome industry challenges with measurable results.

An ETA member company whose use of technology in the payments industry "increases standardization, promotes customer usability, increases profitability or otherwise makes new significant advances for the industry" may be nominated for the Technology Innovation award. The member's technological solution should be in "current use in the marketplace with demonstrated results."
