Ladies can LINC up before ETA

Women planning to be at the Electronic Transactions Association's Annual Meeting & Expo from April 21 to 23, 2009, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas might also enjoy attending the Local Interest Networking Circle Super LINC sponsored by Women Networking in Electronic Transactions (W.net) on the first day of the conference at 3 p.m.

Founded by industry veterans Mary Gerdts, Linda Perry, Holli Targan and Diane Vogt Faro, W.net's mission is to inspire and empower women in the payments industry through networking and education.

The LINCs focus on mentoring and peer support, as well as providing an opportunity to network with other women payment professionals to share ideas and learn new sales and marketing techniques. LINCs are offered quarterly in Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix and Toronto.

Cy Wakeman, a national keynote speaker, workshop leader and trainer, will deliver her reality-based leadership program at Super LINC called Outwit, Outsmart and Outshine, which focuses on new leadership during these challenging economic times. Wakeman's program promises to "change the way you think," according to W.net. Wakeman is also an expert blogger at Fast Company.com and can be contacted at www.fastcompany.com/user/cy-wakeman .

The cost to attend the Super LINC is $75 in advance or $100 at the door for W.net members, and $150 in advance and $175 at the door for nonmembers. For more information about this and all other W.net events, visit www.w-net.biz .
