2017 ETA Star Awards nominations now open

Do you know someone who has made a major contribution to the payments industry in the last year? How about a company doing something revolutionary? The Electronic Transactions Association is now welcoming nominations for the 2017 ETA Star Awards. The awards recognize "individuals and companies that have made a significant difference in the payments industry through innovation, business practices or contributions to the association," the ETA stated.

The 2017 award categories include Business Partner of the Year, Committee Volunteer of the Year, Distringuished Payments Professional, ISO of the Year, and the Pay It Forward Award. In addition, The ETA added four new technology award categories: Best Risk Solution, Best Social Media Integration, Best Payment Facilitator Integration and Best Mobile Solution. The nominations, due March 17, 2017, can be made online at www.electran.org/events/etatransact17/eta-star-awards-call-for-nominations .

Recipients will be honored May 10 at the Transact President's Dinner, sponsored by Visa. Transact is taking place this year May 10 to 12 at the the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, and registration is now open at www.etatransact.com .

"The ETA Star Awards spotlight people and businesses making meaningful advancements in the payments industry," said Jason Oxman, ETA Chief Executive Officer.
