Free tablet program for SMBs

PayAnywhere, the enterprise-grade mobile POS solution from North American Bancard, broke new ground in its latest iteration. PayAnywhere Storefront is the company's first foray into a free touchscreen tablet offering that comes bundled with a tablet stand and built-in credit card reader. The product debuted at the Transact 14: Powered by ETA conference held in Las Vegas during April.

PayAnywhere Storefront offers a simple pricing model with next-day funding for all major card brands. According to the company, the in-app and online business analytics tools allow small and midsize businesses (SMBs) to monitor daily sales, create inventories and generate customized sales activity reports in real time. Sales can be tracked by time of day, week or month to assess inventory orders and product promotions.

PayAnywhere Storefront comes equipped with industry-leading data security protection for merchants and cardholders, which includes data encryption, tokenization and fraud protection, the company said. The system also enables multiple users to sign into one account using unique login credentials. In addition to its automatic tax calculation feature, discounts can be programmed to tabulate automatically and there is a provision for adding tips where needed.
