Deluxe announces leadership changes

Atlanta - December 6, 2021 - Today, Deluxe, a Trusted Payments and Business Technology™ company, announced that Shawn Dillon has been promoted to Chief Product Officer at First American by Deluxe. In this newly created role, Dillon brings two decades of banking and payment expertise to help further Deluxe’s focus on payment technology and merchant services.

Dillon, who previously served as President of Fitech by Deluxe, helped launch Fitech in 2008, with the goal of becoming the merchant services provider of choice among financial institutions. Under his leadership, Fitech became one of the fastest-growing merchant service organizations in the United States, achieving exclusive merchant services endorsement from seven of the top banking associations across 19 states and securing status as the preferred payment technology partner of more than 145 financial institutions.

Prior to the formation of Fitech, Dillon worked for Sam’s Club, one of the most profitable divisions of Fortune #1 company Walmart.

His vision and actions have prepared Fitech for continued success well into the future and primed Shawn for this new role at Deluxe,” said Neil Randel, Managing Director of Merchant Services for Deluxe.

Taking the reins as president of Fitech is Matthew Mingenback, who formerly served as the unit’s Vice President of Sales. Mingenback has been instrumental in helping to grow the sales channel, signing more than 50 partner banks, including many high-profile conversions, and contributing to more than $1B in annual processing volume to the business.

“Matt is uniquely suited for this role,” said Randel. “He joined Fitech in 2017 as a seasoned executive with vast sales and business development experience, all of which have helped to propel Fitech to the forefront of the payments industry. Having worked directly with Shawn across all functions of the Fitech organization, including sales, operations, service and cultural development, he is well prepared to drive this strong segment of our company.”

Previously, Mingenback served in leadership roles at both Afferent Provider Solutions and Merritt Hawkins.
