Communications, Inc., a provider of Internet software solutions for
the financial services industry, plans to team up with Total/1 to
build an exclusive real-time version of HomeCom's Personal Internet
Banker for Total/1's customers.
If you've not
heard of HomeCom, they provide the professional services and
technology necessary for a financial institution to develop an online
marketplace and integrate the online medium into their business
operations. Total/1 provides data processing services for 48 credit
unions throughout Texas.
In addition to
providing a customized version of Personal Internet Banker, HomeCom
will also provide development and hosting services and (watch out
banks!) "Personal Internet Banker" will be available to Total/1's 48
credit unions. Now Credit Unions will be able to compete with banks
on even more levels. Marc Lafitte, president of Total/1, says,

combined with our advanced data processing solution, will provide our
credit unions with the tools they need to compete in today's
