AOL and First USA

 

America Online, Inc., and First USA have united for a five-year agreement, the Internet's largest advertising and marketing partnership ever.

Under the terms of the agreement, First USA becomes the exclusive marketer of credit card products and services on AOL, CompuServe, AOL.COM, and AOL Instant Messenger in the United States and Canada. The agreement is anticipated to generate up to $500 million. First USA will also receive an extensive variety of advertising and promotions across the AOL family of brands.

So, we know that AOL benefits monetarily and First USA benefits from exposure, advertising, etc. What do consumers get? If consumers sign up for an AOL co-branded credit card, they will receive:
