What are some good
places to sell ATM services? Grocery stores? Casinos? Airports? Where
else do people need money fast? How about jail? In Detroit, it's
becoming common practice to locate ATM's within arm's reach of
prisoners.
The Detroit PD is
installing an ATM machine in their lobby. Now minor offenders can
bail themselves out instead of calling someone to post bail for them.
City Manager Lawrence Doyle said the machine is being put in by the
Royal Oak Municipal Employees Credit Union, which represents city
workers, so employees can also withdraw money from it.
And the best part?
There's no service fee! So, if you need some cash and don't want to
get charged $1.50, you could pass GO and go directly to
jail!
