JCPenney has chosen
Shared Check Authorization Network (SCAN) to be its primary check
verification service. "We're delighted to see that JCPenney has
reaffirmed its commitment to SCAN and will continue to receive the
benefit of reduced check losses through their participation in the

stores accept more than $3 billion in checks per year and is the
