not.
We hear a lot about
security, encryption, and protocols these days. Everyone's trying to
find the best way to guard our finances. Well, none of that
protection works when the thieves have the keys!
In Columbus, Ohio
thieves broke into a car. It just happened to be the car of an
armored car company employee, and the keys to National City Bank ATMs
just happened to be in the vehicle.
The thieves raided
one ATM before the locks, combinations, and access codes to all ATMs
in the Columbus district could be changed. An undisclosed amount of
cash was taken and no arrests have been made.
Just goes to show
you, no matter how technologically advanced we are, there is always
room for human error.
