First of all I would like to say that I can really appreciate the integrity and commitment that it takes to research the material found in this publication and I really think that it's great for like-minded people in these closely related fields to share unique experiences and new developments with one another for the prosperity and success of our business relations.
I would like to add something to the letter that was published recently where it was stated that the turn around time for applications being processed were not satisfactory. To us, this should have been discussed in further detail because, although we don't always agree with timeliness of application approvals, the hard work behind the scenes is the reason that a company like USA Processing will be one of the largest in its industry greatly due to the service and commitment that the customers, merchants, and representatives receive. We would just like to say that we are proud of our association with such an organization and would also like to say that we appreciate the support and dedication that this type of business demands.

An ISO in the Financial Services Industry is what some industries might call a Manufacturer's Rep; our term is Independent Sales Organization (ISO). Our writers are listed on page 2 and we have guest writers Dr. Dave Barnett and Robert Owen Carr.
Based on your question on rates, I must assume that you have already published the survey elsewhere and would like to know what we would pay. Please let me know if the survey material has been published, when, where, and what exactly the survey reflects.

We assume that you are looking for original replacement equipment. Pricing from VeriFone is as follows, price breaks are based on dollar amount:
$3.68 each item.
Orders between $1,000 and $2,499 have a 3% discount
Orders between $2,500 and $4,999 have a 5% discount
Orders between $5,000 and $9,999 have a 7% discount
Orders of more than $10,000 have a 10% discount
You may want to contact Horizon and TASQ for prices. They sell remanufactured equipment, which may be a better bet than reworking the equipment yourself. First, I'd like to say I love your publication. For a compact, bi-weekly, it really packs a lot of useful information. Second, in reference to the letter from Bill Stoute in issue #97:11:01, . . . you're referral to Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. was right on the money! 3. Traffic ticket representation, Representation against civil lawsuits,
4. Unlimited representation for covered criminal charges resulting from an auto accident,
5. A 25% discount on ANY other legal services not already covered by the plan.
. . .Trouble can come our way from the merchant, the bank, the processor, etc. No matter how honest and on our toes we are, things happen.
