The Right Word

Does your choice of words influence your prospect's buying decision? It could, if you're using words such as bill, price, or contract. Do you say, "Did I catch you at a bad time?" Wouldn't it be better to say, "Can I speak with you for a brief moment?" The former begs the prospect to push you off until another time. The latter invites the conversation to continue.
