NBA Raises Capital
ISO growth through acquisition continues to be a hot topic, with
National Bankcard Association, Inc. of San Diego California, an
aggressive bankcard ISO/ MSP, announcing the closing of a $5 million
equity financing from JMI Equity Fund L.P. (JMI) and Geocapital
Partners.
JMI and Geocapital Partners specialize in supporting the efforts
of management within the software and information technology
industry. John J. Moores and Charles E. Noell, both from JMI, will
become directors of NBA and participate in the strategic positioning
of the company.
Proceeds from the financing will be used to accelerate NBA's
growth through acquiring other payment processing companies and
purchasing additional merchant portfolios.
