Resource Guide Survey
The Green Sheet has just received the survey responses from those
companies who have been listed in the Resource Guide over the last
two years.
The average time that the companies have been listed in the Guide has
been eleven months, with a maximum of two years of those surveyed. As
you know, company names have come and gone from the listings, as they
have been replaced by other companies, or have asked to be taken out
of the guide.
The number one reason given for Resource Guide placement was to
recruit Salespeople, with the second being to develop sales
leads.
Of those survey respondents, 80% said that the Resource Guide met or
exceeded their expectations.
Of those respondents, four companies had 20-30 sales people recruited
as a result of their placement, while two had even greater success
with 50-60, and one had more than 200 as a direct result of their
Resource Guide placement (see Chart).
Finally, the average response to the number of sales leads received
per Resource Guide participant was 30-40 sales leads, with 20-30
resulting in sales. In each of the sales lead and sales person
recruiting categories, we received response concerning a significant
number of opportunities still under way, but not as yet
completed.
