NDC is not NCN

We have received some inquiries about the company NCN in Texas, and have been asked about its affiliation with NDC, if any.

This business venture should not be confused with NDC. NCN (National Check Network) is a consortium of Independent Collection Agencies that have contributed negative data to a common file since 1994. NCN data, we are told, is available to each agency's customers, and each agency retains ownership of its own negative records, which are being shared.

This business is functioning in much the same way as Check Rite, with a negative data base that is intended for use by collection customers.
