Did you ever stop to think what your job would be like if your customer were really your boss? Taking the answers to heart could boost your customer satisfaction ratings. The U.S. Office of Consumer Affairs reports that one in four customers has a problem with a purchased product or service, but a majority of those don't complain -- and will not buy again from you, either. You've got to make your customers happy from the beginning, and you do this by thinking of them as the boss.
After all, like most, you probably spend a lot of time making sure your real boss is happy with your performance, anticipating his or her needs and putting forth your best effort. Apply that same approach to your customers and you can make them just as happy as you make your boss.
