Miami, Florida, Circuit Judge Maxine Cohen Lando puts lots of crooks in jail, although she has been particularly lenient with Bad Check cases.
She may have a different feeling in the future, say with the crook who swiped five checks out of her purse, which was under her desk in her fourth floor chambers at the Miami Justice building.
This individual forged her signature, and cashed checks for $3,850.00. The crook forged the signature that Lando uses on court orders.
