IMS Reaches Milestone
Integrated Merchant Services, a subsidiary of Interactive Technologies.com, Ltd. (INTR), recently announced it reached a transaction milestone of 28 million credit card transactions per month for its merchant accounts processed through NOVA Corporation.
Integrated Merchant Services offers bankcard processing services for merchants, including acceptance and processing of credit cards and debit cards, check verification, and ATM machine sales. They also offer an Internet payment gateway that allows a merchant’s Web site to authorize a transaction that is not Internet related, which eliminates the cost of credit card terminal hardware.
According to William Becker, CEO of INTR, IMS anticipates a significant increase to its merchant portfolio, generating in excess of 87 million additional credit card transactions per quarter. “We have created a complete solution for merchants accepting credit cards for their products and services over the Internet,’’ said Becker. “Offering this one-stop solution to our merchants positions our company to take advantage of this emerging sector.’’
