Vital
Processing Services®
recently debuted Vital Merchant Services, a wholly-owned Vital subsidiary
specializing in POS terminal management services. Vital Processing
Services recently completed purchasing the assets and business of AMS, LLC
and its subsidiary, SupplyXpress. Vital Merchant Services will be built on
that base.
Jon Palmer, president and
CEO of Vital Processing Services, said, “Terminal management services
represent a natural and valuable extension of Vital’s services to our
acquiring clients and their merchant customers. This fills a gap in our
service offering, and gives us an opportunity to deliver more service with
the high quality for which Vital is becoming known.”
Vital
Merchant Services provides a variety of point-of-sale support services
including terminal equipment procurement, deployment, “just-in-time”
inventory management, replacement and repair services, merchant training
and installation, merchant supplies replenishment, and help desk support.
Keith Smith has been
appointed president and CEO. Smith formerly served as Executive Vice
President of Vital Processing Services, and was previously Vice President
of Sales and Marketing for Gibbs Management Group, Inc., a terminal
services provider. Vital Merchant Services will remain headquartered in
