R
emember that
old saying?
There are three kinds of people:
Those who make things happen,
Those who watch what happens,
Those
who wonder what happened.
People
who are good at selling their products or services are always the ones who
make things happen. In sales you can’t wait around for the customer to
come to you, you have to go after the market. You have to find them. You
have to focus on each sale like it was your first and stick with it. You
have to talk about your product with friends and acquaintances and try to
get people to get interested in it, no matter who they are.
You
have to think about how your customer relationship is even if you get the
sale. If you can, keep up the relationship you have made with your
customer in order to possibly gain a development of future business
through their contacts.
Get
in there and spend the extra hour making cold calls, spend those extra 10
minutes waiting for a call back. If you put in the effort you won’t be
disappointed.
Get
in there and make things happen!
