End-to-end solutions to help SMBs grow and scale

SpotOn Transact LLC, doing business as SpotOn, is a payments technology solutions provider focused on small and midsize businesses (SMBs). Co-founders Matthew and Zachary Hyman had previously launched Central Payment in 2005, a California-based ISO later acquired by TSYS. The brothers and co-founder Doron Friedman created SpotOn, an end-to-end platform that combines processing, business management and customer engagement in an integrated subscription service.

The SpotOn technology suite delivers a diversity of SMB tools and capabilities. Participating merchants can manage payment processing, marketing campaigns, online reviews, loyalty and customer analytics without leaving the platform. Combining these critical assets enables business owners to attract and retain customers while building brand recognition, company representatives stated.

"At SpotOn, we view solutions and service through a small business lens, transacting with fellow entrepreneurs in the same way that we would want business done," said R.J. Horsley, president at SpotOn. "We provide support, training and month-to-month contracts with no termination fees. We believe if we provide the right products and services, customers will stay with us forever." Payment processing is just one of many features in SpotOn's solution portfolio, which is continually updated, Horsley noted. Following are examples of available products and services.

Customer engagement tools

Customer relationships are an innate advantage of SMBs that larger businesses can't replicate, Horsley stated. Participating SpotOn merchants can use an array of high-tech tools to build unique customer relationships. Among them are review management, digital marketing and loyalty software. With review management, SpotOn consolidates online reviews, giving business owners a simple way to reply. Merchants can monitor and manage online reviews on sites like Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Foursquare, using their dashboard's single access view.

Merchants can use the digital marketing platform's built-in campaign generation tools to send targeted and time-sensitive messages quickly to their customers. This helps business owners stay top-of-mind with customers through email campaigns, periodic updates and alerts. With loyalty software, merchants can create incentives for customers based on their spending levels or purchasing frequency. Targeted loyalty programs can drive engagement and increase revenue.

POS solutions

SpotOn's POS solutions are designed to help merchants grow and scale. Purpose-built for a range of business types and sizes, offerings include advanced analytics, business management tools and digital receipt options. Using SpotOn Restaurant, restaurateurs can offer online ordering, takeout, delivery and order-ahead. The purpose-built solution includes a touchscreen POS, cash register, external card reader, barcode scanner and printer.

Multiple hardware options are available. SpotOn Register is a hardware and software combination that facilitates multiple business tasks at the POS, from accepting payments to collecting customer information at checkout. These capabilities help improve efficiencies and customer retention. SpotOn Poynt is an all-in-one solution that supports all payment types and provides advanced marketing and loyalty features. The solution's simple interface is easy to configure and use, the company stated.

Online presence

Noting that commerce is heading online, Horsley emphasized the need to help clients adapt to changing paradigms, stating, "that's the philosophy behind SpotOn's suite of online services." The SpotOn Website solution enables SpotOn merchants to create professional websites quickly. Business owners who don't have the time and funds can create and manage mobile responsive, SEO-optimized sites, fully integrated with the SpotOn platform.

SpotOn Appointment scheduling software is flexibly designed for a range of businesses. Individual operators and multilocation businesses can use the solution to set appointments and manage staff. When used in conjunction with SpotOn Website, the solution facilitates online appointment setting and reservations directly on a merchant's site. SpotOn also provides online ordering, an essential component of a business owner's online presence.

The solution makes it easy for customers to place orders via SpotOn Website. "The Digital Age is upon us," Horsley said. "We want to help our clients succeed today while preparing them for the challenges they will face tomorrow." end of article
