A $5,000 Quote to Live By

"Find someone who has what you want, do what they do, and you'll get what they got." In the mid-1990s, in order to become instantly rich, I joined a network marketing company. In order to become a manager with the company, I had to purchase more than $5,000 worth of products and training. Unfortunately, my road to quick riches was nothing more than an alley to "Suckersville," but I did walk away with a philosophy that has been extremely helpful to me every since I first heard it.
During one of the training sessions conducting by the network marketing company that I joined, I overheard a guy asking his manager how he had become successful. The manager replied, "Find someone who has what you want, do what they do, and you'll get what they got." This made perfect sense to me, so I immediately wrote it down.
How do you increase your chances of being the best in any given field? You should find someone who is already successful in that field, discover what they have done and what they are doing that is generating positive results, and then you must duplicate what they are doing. Eventually, you will experience similar success.
To be the best software manufacturer, find out what Bill Gates does. To be the best in physics, find out what Einstein did.
To be the best, you should find the best and do the things that they do the best. By accepting the advice of finding someone who has what you want, and doing what they do, and eventually getting what they have, you'll find your road to success a smoother journey - and you don't have to spend $5,000 to get there.
